Why €299 and not €900

A cheaper chair, not a cheaper build.

If a price looks too good, you deserve the reason. Here is ours — the costs we removed, and none of them are in the chair itself.

Still being verified

Most brands would publish estimates here. We'd rather show you the empty boxes. These will be measured and confirmed before the first Belgian batch ships — and everyone who reserved gets them in writing before deciding.

The founding batch

100 seats. Then the price moves.

The first Belgian batch is capped because we order to confirmed demand rather than guessing and warehousing. When the seats are gone, the next production run is priced against real landed cost — which is higher, not lower.

The batch is capped at 100 seats. We'll show the live count here once fewer than 50 remain.

Before you reserve

The questions we'd ask too.

Am I paying anything right now?

No. Reserving is a demand signal, not a transaction. No card details, no deposit, no charge. You'll be contacted with confirmed specifications and a firm date before anyone asks you for money.

What exactly does a reservation get me?

A place in the founding batch at the €299 launch price, first access when the batch opens, and the confirmed specification sheet before you decide.

Why should I trust a chair that doesn't exist yet?

Partly you shouldn't — which is why we've listed everything we haven't verified rather than hiding it. What we can tell you is confirmed: the adjustment mechanisms, the materials, and the target price.

Will it fix my back pain?

No, and be suspicious of any chair that claims it will. The Vörk One is a tool for workstation optimisation, not a medical device. Adjustability helps you build a workstation that fits your body — it doesn't replace movement, standing breaks, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

What if the chair never ships?

Then you've lost nothing, because you paid nothing. That's the entire point of validating demand before manufacturing rather than after.
