3D lifting lumbar support
Fills the natural hollow of your lower back and stays in contact through every posture. Up, down and forward adjustment means it keeps supporting you when you lean in to type, not only when you sit up straight.
A fully adjustable ergonomic office chair for people who sit eight hours a day — built to one high specification and sold direct, so the price reflects the chair and not the distribution.
We started this because our backs hurt and we could not afford the fix.
We are two students in Belgium. For two years we worked from chairs that cost about a hundred euros each, because that is what a student budget buys.
By the second year we were both getting up from our desks not because we had finished something, but because we could not sit any longer. The foam had flattened where we sat. The armrests only went up and down. There was nothing behind our lower backs at all. We did not have posture problems — we had a furniture problem.
So we went looking for a real chair, found nothing under €700, and spent a long time working out why. We do not think a chair that lasts should be a luxury. We would rather build one chair, properly specified, that you keep for years instead of replacing twice — and nothing gets built unless enough of you want it.
Email address and the finish you want, ten seconds. No card, no deposit, no account to manage. Your number in the founding batch is held from that moment.
When the batch is production-ready we send the measured specification sheet — weight limit, dimensions, gas-lift class, EN 1335, warranty terms. In writing.
Only then do you choose whether to buy. Decline and nothing happens — no charge, no obligation, no follow-up you didn't ask for.
If a price looks too good, you deserve the reason. Here is ours — the costs we removed, and none of them are in the chair itself.

Fills the natural hollow of your lower back and stays in contact through every posture. Up, down and forward adjustment means it keeps supporting you when you lean in to type, not only when you sit up straight.

Height, width, depth, angle, swivel and slide. Ten dimensions exist for one reason: to bring your forearms to roughly 90° so your shoulders stop holding themselves up — whatever your desk height or keyboard layout.

Lock upright to focus, open up to read or think. Seat depth slides so there is a two-finger gap behind your knees — the single adjustment most chairs skip and most people need.

A square-tapered five-star alloy base instead of reinforced plastic, and a specialty mesh back that stays cool through a full working day. The two components a low-cost chair almost always compromises.

Tiers describe typical configurations at each price point in the Belgian market. No named competitor is referenced, and figures for other tiers are indicative, not measured by us.
The first Benelux batch is capped because we order to confirmed demand rather than guessing and warehousing. Every chair in it carries its number, and reservation order decides who gets which one.
Only 96 of 100 chairs left · 4 already reserved· closes 31 October 2026
This is not a waiting list for a chair that is already being made. If fewer than 100 people reserve, the batch is not manufactured and everyone is told directly. Nothing about this happens without you.

What a reservation gets you
No. Reserving is a demand signal, not a transaction. No card details, no deposit, no charge. You will be contacted with confirmed specifications and a firm date before anyone asks you for money.
No. It is recorded against your reservation and it tells us which finish to produce first, but you confirm your final choice when the batch opens — and you can change it then.
Partly you shouldn't — so here is what we have not verified yet, rather than an estimate dressed up as a fact: maximum user weight, exact seat dimensions, gas-lift class, EN 1335 conformance, final warranty terms and the final finish range. All six get measured and sent to you in writing before anyone asks you for money. What is already settled: the adjustment mechanisms, the materials, and the €299 target price. And if fewer than 100 people reserve, nothing is manufactured and you are told directly.
You have the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU distance-selling law gives you on any online purchase, plus the 2-year Belgian legal guarantee. Neither is a favour — both are your rights, and we would rather state them plainly than bury them.
No, and be sceptical of any chair that claims it will. The Vörk One is a tool for workstation optimisation, not a medical device. Adjustability helps you build a workstation that fits your body — it does not replace movement, standing breaks, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
€299 is the founding-batch price for Belgium. Once the batch closes, pricing is set against actual landed cost, local stock and support — which is realistically higher, not lower.
Ten seconds, one email address, and you can still decline everything that comes after.
Pre-launch demand validation. No products are sold from this page today — reserving does not charge you and does not create a contract of sale. €700–€1,000 and €90–€150 describe typical market prices for other chairs at those tiers; neither is a previous Vörk selling price. Product images are pre-production renders; final appearance and finish range may differ, and your recorded finish preference is not a guarantee of availability. The Vörk One is a tool for workstation optimisation, not a medical device. It does not cure, treat or prevent back pain, and it does not replace movement, standing breaks or advice from a qualified healthcare professional. The 2-year Belgian legal guarantee and the 14-day EU right of withdrawal apply to purchases once launched. Target price €299 incl. VAT; final pricing confirmed before the batch opens. If fewer than 100 reservations are received, the batch will not be manufactured and everyone who reserved will be notified.
